The lure of lucre is hard to resist. But not for Katrina Kaif who was offered a whopping amount for a performance on New Year’s eve at a Mumbai hotel.

Reportedly, a five-star hotel in Juhu wanted Katrina to perform on Dec 31 and offered her Rs. 2.5 crore, an unprecedented amount for any Bollywood actress, but Katrina turned down the offer. Why? She had other plans.

Every year at Christmas, Katrina flies to London to be with her mom and sisters and she stays there till New Year. The family ritual has been going on for years and Katrina says she “wouldn’t like to break it for any amount of money in the world.”

Last year too Kat was offered a huge amount but the offer was later taken back after 26/11 attacks following which all the New Year celebrations were cancelled.

So, Kat’s plan for this year’s New Year eve is cast in stone. Come what may, she’s headed to London for the annual family reunion.
