One flop film can change equations overnight in the industry. Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez whose first film Aladin failed to click at the box office is learning this in a rather unpleasant way.

The gorgeous damsel was finalized to play the female lead role opposite the Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham in a film to be directed by the actor’s good friend Sabal Shekhawat. But after the ‘Aladin’ debacle, the duo is now learnt to be doubtful about roping in Jacqueline for the flick.

Sabal doesn’t deny having met Jacqueline a couple of times to discuss the film, but he goes on to say that she’s not been signed for the film because of “several other aspects”, including the film’s budget.

Well, considering Jacqueline is a newbie she’s not charging a bomb from producers and one fails to understand how signing her could affect the film’s budget. The movie is a thriller and Jacqueline fitted the role of a glam doll until ‘Aladin’ flopped.

However, Jacqueline still has her second Bollywood film ‘Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai’ in her kitty. In the movie she plays a girl who comes from Venus to discover love on Earth. The film is a rom-com with a lot of sci-fi and special effects.
